Hey kids! From the creator of such memorable characters as Sloan Capper and Andrea Kegworth comes a new kid! Miss Emma Vane! This 7th year Gryffindor is the older sister of Romilda, and a non-cannon DA member. Emma is honest, genuine, quick to action, though while she can see flaws in others plans she has a hard time seeing the flaws in her own. She's very energetic and fun to be around. She's ready for this war to be over, and is a little disillusioned by it at times (she really believe that good will always triumph over evil and is mostly convinced that nothing they can't handle will come their way.

Hey everyone!

My name is Lex, and this is Hestia Carrow. Hestia is a pacifist and has been volunteering her time to help Madame Pomfrey in the infirmary. She's also in the Slug Club, and a 6th year Slytherin Prefect.

Hestia is ambitious and eventually wants to run St. Mungo's. She's actually a good deal nicer than a lot of her Slytherin peers...even though some of this is for self-serving reasons. She doesn't want to burn her bridges and feels it's better to be polite and pleasant to others whenever possible.

Hestia's very uncomfortable with her cousins' disciplinary methods, but she's not likely to speak up against them. She's sitting happily on the "la la la, not getting involved" fence.

So! Friends, friendly acquaintances, rivals, etc? Let me know. I was hoping she'd have at least one friend who isn't a blood purist just to shake things up for her. ^.~

Hello everyone! I'm terribly sorry for dropping out of existence on everyone like that. Everything just kind of piled up at once. However, I am almost on top of things now, so I should be back shortly and tagging those threads that I should have tagged quite some time ago and all of that.

I am dealing with what can only be called the Grand Mother Bitch of All Spyware Viruses, and I have drill this weekend. So, many apologies to the people I owe tags to, and also the Mod Update will have to wait at least until Monday. Sorry for the delay.

Hey guys, I'm going to be mostly gone for the next couple days. I've been having really bad migraines and I've been spending most of my time sleeping. Hopefully my new meds will start working soon and I'll be up to my normal energy again. I know I've got a couple threads going and I'll try to get to those, but I'll be slow.

Hey it's Saku here!

Just to give the heads up, I'm going to be a little slow for the next couple of days. I've fallen victim to a rather horrible tummy bug which came with a cold and also, I have a presentation for my class due in on Wednesday, so I'm gonna have to work to get that done.

Not- really a full on hiatus, but if my activity is lacking that's why. I'll try and get back on schedule as soon as possible. Those I owe tags, logs and such I apologize sincerely!!

Okay guys I'm back! Dad's doing great and should be home from the hospital later this morning. And lets just say that my mom is probalby going to go "Molly Weasley" on his ass, which amused the hell out of me.

I just wanted to say thanks for all of the kind words and stuff, you guys rock and I'm really lucky to be in a game with such great people.

I do know that Lissa gave you all a heads up for me, but here's my official post about it. Also, bear with me because this is going up in all the games that I'm in.

Apparently my family had decided that it's okay for them to get deathly ill all at once.

I do not agree.

That being said, I have three family members (one on each side including my husband's) that are all very, very ill. Two of them, we know, probably don't have much longer, so needless to say I'm probably not going to be around much for the next week, at least not for RPing. I will be on AIM sporadically, and I will be checking my email daily so you will have ways of getting in touch with me for plotting or other such things. Also, if anyone wants to just talk or whatever, or you have an important question, Lissa has my phone number and I give her permission to give it to anyone who asks for calling/texting purposes (gotta love free incoming calls and unlimited text XD)

I realize this is really crappy timing, what with me just getting in game and all, and I hopefully, if I feel up to it, I'll be putting up a journal and/or thread for my characters within the next couple of days.

Hey guys. I just wanted to let you guys know that I might be really sparse the next few days. My dad had a heart attack last night (it was a little one, and he's doing alright) and I need to go home and be with my family. And they don't exaclty have what we like to call internet, so yeah. But even if they did have internet, I'm not sure my heart would be in it ya know.

So anyway. I need to take a small hiatus. I should be back early next week and dive right back into it. But I just thought you guys should know.

Hannah is your friendly seventh year Hufflepuff prefect. She's a sweetheart, but also has a tendency to mother people a little too much as well as become a GIGANTIC ball of stress without the least bit of warning. Hannah is also a member of DA and staunchly anti-Death Eater and anti-Voldemort as well as somehow being anti-war. Mostly she desperately wants the war to be over, but a tiny little part of her, which she is currently squashing down into the depths of her mind, wants some sort of vengeance for the death of her mother last year. However, she tries not to dwell on that and always look on the bright side of life. -whistles-

HI everyone! I'm Christie, I'm new, and I'm going to be playing Minerva McGonagall. I also suck at these introductions. I'm a biology grad student who's in the process of adopting a chinchilla. But that's neither here nor there.

Minerva is a 61st year Gryffindor professor of Transfiguration, Head of Gryffindor House, half-blooded, and awesome. She's a member of the Order of the Pheonix and sympathetic to the cause to muggleborns. She's an adamant opponent of the death eaters and I'm not really sure why she wasn't replaced. She must be tenured. However, from her you can expect what we've all come to know and love about McGonagall: humorless and strict enforcement of rules for the safety of the student body with a dash of compassion running underneath. I'm hoping she can be a bit of an advocate for students in some capacity, but am certainly open to any ideas you guys have!

My CDJ is eyeball_tree and my AIM is necessary papers if you'd like to plot/talk/something that slant rhymes there. Nice to meet you (and sorry for rambling!)
