WHO: Alicia and Roger WHAT: A rough night WHERE: Her mother's home, then the Leaky Cauldron WHEN: Monday RATING: Surpassing PG13
( She pushed the front door open and once she crossed the threshold, vanished with a loud crack. )
Mathis came down the stairs, alarmed by the sudden noise. Alicia was gone and Alexandria sat with her head in her hands, crying.
"What happened?"
Alex tried to dry her eyes, "I messed up."
"How?"
"Nothing ever stays buried, right?"
Alicia sat alone at the bar at the Leaky Cauldron. She had stopped crying two drinks ago.
She was well covered and her body language was closed. She wasn't looking for any attention tonight, but she got it anyway. Someone sat next to her.

VIGILANTE JUSTICE SEEKS REVENGE FOR CRIMES OF PAST
LONDON; A masked vigilante wearing a red fist logo was spotted last night in Knockturn Alley, attacking a shopkeeper as he locked up his store. The shopkeeper, Castor Birchbeard, was closing his shop which deals in pure blood family heirlooms, when the man in a black mask and hood jumped off of a rooftop and hexed him from behind.
The vigilante, who investigators are calling The Red Fist, wore red dragon-hide gloves, a black outfit, a black mask, and a harness on his chest bearing a red fist logo. Such a logo was seen on a previously arrested vigilante this week, though officials say The Red Fist seemed better trained and more direct in his purpose.
Mr. Birchbeard was saved by a passerby who wished to remain anonymous. The Red Fist left Birchbeard unconscious as he fled into the dark and vanished. Minister Shacklebolt was not available for comment, but the Ministry's Department of Magical Law Enforcement is worried about the serial nature of these attacks and the symbol that ties them together. These attacks began after the announcement of the Ministry's concluded investigation.

WHO: Brynja and Oliver WHAT: Um... Married Stuff WHEN: Saturday WHERE: Their flat RATING: NC17
Brynja finished cleaning up dishes from dinner. Oliver had put Sophia to bed and the flat was quiet. She went into the junk drawer and pulled out a small package wrapped in newspaper. A photo from the sports page moved across the surface. Someone threw a Quaffle and hit another player with it in the back of the head.
Brynja came out into the living room where Oliver sat and sat down next to him. She put the package in his lap. "I got you a present."

WHO: Alicia and OTA WHAT: Clubbin' WHERE: A Night Club in Diagon Alley WHEN: Saturday Night
Alicia sat at the bar, sipping a bright blue drink in a martini glass. All around the walls and across the ceiling were fairy lights. The floor panels were made of thick frosted glass with twinkling lights changing colours beneath. The rest of the place was dark. The glow on the floor and the ceiling were the only things illuminating the faces on the dance floor.
Alicia sat with her drink, listening to a club remix of a Chalk on the Board song. She wore a black leather corset with a back skirt and red bangles. The corset was cut low enough in the back to show at least half of her tattoo, the list of names in memory of those who had died in the war.
A drunk thirty-something with a pitiful goatee leaned on the bar next to her. "What're those names on your back?" She looked up at him, spotting the sleazy cock of his eyebrow. This was a wizard club. If he didn't recognize at least one of those names then he wasn't someone she was even interested in talking to. How could he be that ignorant?
She got up and looked for a familiar face in the crowd, someone to use as an escape plan. "Can I buy you a drink?" he asked, ignoring the fact that she'd just obviously made a move to leave.

WHO: Roger + Susie WHAT: Celebrating end of review week and the official end of the Death Eaters WHERE: Soon to be a lively tavern near a loud Wizard nightclub. WHEN: Friday night
Out of the corner of his eye, Roger saw that the clock read 10:09 PM; he was already ten minutes late for his engagement. The office was relatively empty, with only a few worker-bee souls left buzzing around the Ministry. Behind him, he had charmed his quill to scribble his signature across scroll after scroll, each one flying furiously after the other. Roger had been spending the last half hour at the office getting ready, messing with various hair and outfit permutations.
Finally, after fiddling in the mirror for some time, Roger settled on a pair of dark jeans and leaving three buttons on his favorite form-fitting shirt unbuttoned. It was supposed to be a fun night after all; he hadn't had a drink for the last month what with the Ministry going through its last phases of going through Death Eater properties. More so, he was going to meet up with one, possibly two, fun ladies. He didn't feel it was irresponsible at all--just going out for drinks and possibly some dancing. No harm in that right? Besides, his wife was probably asleep. Cho would be the one he'd come home to in the end and that's all that would matter.
Roger looked at the clock again. 10:15. Not too bad. He sprayed some of his favorite cologne -- a subtle, but clearly masculine scent -- over his chest and made his way out toward the lift. Roger hoped Susie would be there already, looking as good as she promised.

WHO: Draco and OTA WHAT: A Revelation and an Open Thread WHERE: In the halls of the Ministry of Magic WHEN: Friday afternoon
Draco pressed the button to call the elevator. He shoved his hands into his pockets and waited as the bell rang for each floor. Dressed in a gray, well-tailored suit with a light blue tie, Draco felt out of place. It wasn't his clothing. He wasn't overdressed. Something about his environment had clearly changed.
He turned around and looked at the busy corridors. It was the airplanes. The paper airplanes were gone, or rather there were far fewer of them. The journals had replaced the need for a wave of white paper birds to be constantly soaring around the Ministry of Magic, getting stuck to shoes and poking people in the eyes.
He laughed.

FIVE YEAR INVESTIGATION ENDS; PERSONAL AFFECTS RELEASED TO PUBLIC
The Ministry of Magic concluded their investigation of Death Eater activity today, nearly five years after the conclusion of the war. The official end of the war has been declared as the Battle of Hogwarts and the death of the Death Eater leader, Thomas Marvolo Riddle, otherwise known as Voldemort.
In the months following the battle, Ministry Officials seized property of known Death Eaters to use as evidence. Said evidence was used to route out hidden Death Eaters and to determine which of those involved were acting of their own free will. The conclusion has been that, compared to the previous war that ended in 1981, the war ending in 1998 had far fewer cases of the Imperius Curse. With the Death Eaters in power, there wasn't much need to use mind control. They could just kill anyone who got in their path.
The Ministry will be sending letters to those who survived by Death Eaters, informing them of their inheritance. Ministry representatives will not release an official list of those receiving property until after the relatives are informed.
Some have to wonder, however, if being a recipient of these properties links those on the list to the Death Eater activity that ended nearly five years ago.
