She turned her attention to Giles, crossing her own arms over her chest as she fixed him with an even stare. The detective could care less if he refused simple gestures, but there'd sure enough be trouble if he tried to stand in the way of her investigation. When Lillah returned, she's taken a seat at the nook the master had led her too and pulled out her notepad.
"Let's start from the beginning. Tell me whatever you can about him, whatever you're comfortable telling me," Beckett clarified. "I know this kind of thing can be hard, but the more you give me about his actions and his criminal activity, the more I'll have to go off of."
