Hermes smiled fondly at Scott once he'd calmed down enough to breathe properly. He took the hand up and decided the best means of answering the beta's question was by means of demonstration. With the momentum and years of practice behind him to manage things almost as swiftly as his namesake, he shifted into his second favourite form, a snow white fox landing nimbly on Scott's shoulder to brush his tail affectionately over clothed skin and press a cold nose to his cheek in a vulpine approximation of a kiss before leaping off again to be human once more by the time he landed on the couch.
Out of respect for the wolf, he left some space between himself and Alcuin. "I flew in through the window," he nodded. "Though I'm often just naked. Alcuin's used to it by now." He looked over at his friend and smiled. "You should've told me your new master was so adorable and protective." Attention back on the apologetic wolf, Hermes kept his genuine, easy smile on his face. "It's fine, truly. I mean I will have to check my ass for rugburn before I go to work tonight and might have to blame it on the dog being overly excited to protect everyone's dignity, but I've been through worse and there's no harm done here. Promise."
