Who: Sadie and Ginger Where: The Avalon. Jannati When: Week 2. Friday. Evening. Rating: TBA Status: In-progress, open
The week was nearly over and Ginger wasn't so sure her mind could handle any more either Rocket or Wade. Especially not when they were at odds like they had been all week. If 'at odds' was the right word for it. Rocket seemed to want to fill Wade with holes and Wade seemed to be obsessed with treating the were-raccoon like he was some kind of fuzzy loving Disney animal sidekick. Though it had been amusing to watched the questionably sane man attempt to braid and put bows in the raccoon's fur until even Ginger could see Rocket was mere moments away from setting the whole building aflame.
And that had only been on Tuesday.
Things had progressively gotten worse from that point on, no matter how much of a buffer she'd attempted to be, which admittedly at times hadn't been much but even then it had finally gotten to be enough and she just needed away. Away from the men currently driving her up the wall, away from the walls currently falling down around her ears, and the dust and the construction work and just everything. She'd just put on a purple dress and heels then declared loudly for them not to wait up for her and left before there could be any protests about it.
Ginger wasn't sure how she'd heard about this place, but she had and it sounded like just the kind of quick getaway place she needed for the night to just unwind, relax, have a drink or several, maybe make a few new friends since it looked as if they would be sticking around town for a while and most importantly to dance.
She really, really wanted to just lose herself in some music and dance the night away and from the sounds of it, this was the place for exactly that alright. Now if only this line wasn't between her and not being outside right now.
"Excuse me," She asked as she lightly tapped on the shoulder of the woman in front of her, "But, is there some kind of special event going on tonight or is it just always this busy?"
