Elena was both nervous and excited. She was excited to see her best friend and also nervous about having Caroline move into the house because of Klaus. The excitement was winning out though. Elena sat outside of a little cafe with a coffee sitting in front of her as she waited for Caroline. Her eyes were unfocused as she though and she was idly playing with her new collar that was around her neck. Elena thought of it more as a necklace then a collar but it was Elijah's collar and it would keep her safe from other supernaturals. She hoped it worked on Klaus.
When she heard her name Elena looked up from where she was starring at the table and saw Caroline. A bright smile appeared on Elena's face and she was up out of her chair in seconds. "Caroline!" Then the girls were hugging and Elena was holding Caroline tight to her. "Caroline, I've missed you."
