Rori thought this whole thing was a blast. Granted, she liked the auctions in America a bit better, though Pansy Nott definitely threw a wonderful one. It was something about the types of auctioneers they had back home that was a lot of fun.
She'd taken Jules up on the dress night offer, since she wasn't exactly in the rich league of most of these people, and had claimed for the night the stunning pants suit that she could never afford in a decade. She looked way fancier than she felt. As the auction proceeded, she volunteerred to go up to the bar to refresh everyone's drink orders, given she had no personal stakes in the auction itself.
She sidled up next to the man at the bar and gave the bartender her order before glancing over him, grinning a bit. "That's one wild suit," she said.
