"I appreciate that, Noah." She gave him a slight smile before turning to a mischievous smirk, "I thought you weren't going to tell me what you smelled?" Cassandra giggled. "It is odd that a Pucey wouldn't want to at least learn the family trade first." She paused thinking of her own mother, "On second thought, I think I can get it." She loved her mother's business and even being in the shop when her father in the office gleaned some...advantages.
She pushed the idea of apprenticing under Adrian from her mind returning to the task at hand. "Everyone else in this department is wanting to find the defensive aspect of love. Recreate it for mass use, right?" She paused wondering if Noah was following along.
"Well I had a different idea." She motioned to the glass chamber on the far side of the room, "What if we somehow found the line between love and infatuation and used that as the baseline for the rest of the research? How much closer could we get to that answer then.
Cassandra leaned down over her cauldron again and breathed deeply, she could finally smell the faintest hint of something as the potion roiled but it vanished as quickly it came.
