When he seemed to be a bit embarrassed, Jules waved a hand and offered him a generous smile. "That's quite all right," she assured him. She tried to recall what the Janus Thickey Ward was for, but despite having an older brother as a healer, she knew very little about it all. "Do you enjoy it?" she asked curiously.
"Oh, a little bit of everything. I'm still doing a lot of experimenting to try to find my niche--if I even have one, that is." It was entirely possible that she would end up a multi-media artist with no specific specialization, and that was just fine with her. The satisfaction came in creating beautiful things regardless of the medium or style. "I do tend to paint more than other art forms, but I also still love drawing--sketching, that is--and charcoal can make the most hauntingly beautiful pictures!"
Was she babbling? She worried then that she was babbling, her cheeks tinging a bit at the thought.
