After messaging briefly with Holly earlier, Jules had tried to get back to her art, working on one of her larger canvases with a restless, unfocused energy. It felt like something was crawling under her skin, and she couldn't seem to shake it off. She needed to do something else, but what?
It wasn't often she went out on her own, at least not without a purpose. Juliet usually only went out socially if she was going out with her friends. But tonight, she needed to go out. But where? She considered the Leaky Cauldron but got an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of her stomach and so shook that idea off. Victory Bar was another safe one, and the Feeling that came with that thought was far more warm. Okay, Universe, I'm listening, she thought with a sigh, heading downstairs from her loft to head to her bedroom and change out of her painting clothes.
When she made it to Victory Bar, she was looking far more put together than she realized, though she was clueless that she had a bit of paint in her hair from where she'd run her fingers through it earlier. She went through the pub and up to the bar to wait her turn to order a drink. There was an empty stool, and she went to sit on it, hesitating when she noticed just how close it was to the guy sitting on the other side of it.
"Um, hi, I'm sorry, is this seat taken?" she asked quietly, probably more quiet than she ought to have in a bar setting, but it wasn't in her nature to be loud.
