Thad chuckled at the observation, shrugging one shoulder casually. "Maybe I was," he hedged, smirking a bit still. He'd struck out with her last time, but it had lingered in the back of his head, and he couldn't help but want to give it another go, this time walking into it knowing who she was. "But I found you," he added, and damn if that didn't sound like a ridiculous pickup line to his own ears.
"I was wondering if you might be interested in a more private celebration," he suggested, figuring he'd just go for broke.
