"You're still working on Grimmauld Place?" She asked, her eyes lighting up. It was such a beautiful old home. "Oh," she looked around, "No, I'm off today - we have a weekend staff now, they're with the kids from Saturday to Monday so us full-timers can do our casework on Mondays and be with the kids Tuesday through Friday," she shrugged and quieted, feeling like she was talking too much - something she did when she was nervous.
"I was picking up sweets for my brother, he's... going through something," she rolled her eyes, "I think," she knew that whatever was happening with Holly was Alexander's own damned fault, "so I thought I'd try to cheer him up." She almost said he's actually in town for once but thought better of it - she didn't know if Jamie had told his family why she'd ended things with him.
