I appreciate it. Skye had mentioned as much and I wrote something up on the Montrose Magpies match against the Catapults. I will include that sample with this letter.
Best,
Harrison McClaggen
As the Quidditch season turned to glorious Spring in Scotland, the Montrose Magpies hosted the Caerphilly Catapults. Dropping three of their first four matches, the Catapults looked to end the league leaders undefeated streak with a decisive win.
The Catapults lead the match early against the Magpies and it looked like they had their work cut out for them in the two day long match. But as night fell on the first day the Magpies rallied due to exceptional pressure exerted by Magpies star beater Gavin Montgomery who kept the opposition dodging bludgers giving the chasers free reign of the pitch extending the margin two one hundred points. With the much needed rest to the team’s keeper, Hunter McClaggen defended the goals well until newcomer Thaddeus Nott solidified the Magpies fifth win this season with a decisive snitch capture. With the win they remain squarely on top of the league table going into April. And the one hundred point only adds to their lead as the point differentials between them and the teams at the heels continues to grow.
Looking forward the Magpies are on the road to Chudley to face another team out of form in the Cannons before hosting the Ballycastle Bats in what should be a matchup that could turn the tide for the Bats.
