Rori listened attentively, definitely interested in what Jules was telling her. Some people might say she babbled, but to Rori, it was just a fun, enthusiastic story about the family she was now working for. "Oh wow, I never would have guessed that about your mum, she's been so nice to me. I'm a halfblood, my dad's a Muggle, as y'all say," she said, an easy enough admission to her, who hadn't grown up in a place where it was quite so taboo though there were some who frowned at it. Her main problem hadn't been the no-maj bit, but the Native American blood she obviously had, as there were to this day still some serious issues about the colonizers and how things had been taken over in that fashion.
"But that's such a wonderful story, and they definitely seem very much in love from what I've seen. Your whole family is great, honestly. Mine's a bit of a clusterfuck currently, excuse my language. So it's nice to see one that seems to be so good together." All families had problems, but the Notts did seem like a large happy family on the whole. She'd met all of them - at least, she thought so - and they'd been very kind so far.
"Oh, that would be great, so long as it's not imposing on her birthday. Maybe you can give me tips on what to wear - I know some of the stuff I'd wear back home, but I really don't want to make a total ass of myself my first time out like that. The culture shock hasn't completely worn off yet and I'd like to make a good impression." She was quite frank about it.
