His last week had been spent buried to his shoulders in inventory documents and paperwork preparing for his final reports to the Head Goblin and Head Curse-breaker Davey. "If I never see another goblin again, I think I'll live." Alexander exhaled, returning Holly's smile. "I can hold her for a moment." He offered, sitting down next to her. Had it really already been four months that they'd had her? He loved Holly and he loved her. The wine was an extra touch. He had something to ask Holly tonight. He'd been hiding the box at the office fearing that she might find it at the penthouse.

He looked down at Bea again, asleep in his arms. Safe. He and Holly may not have started on the best of terms. He distinctly remembers being rude and then a screaming match in the rain. A breakup and reconciliation. But this was his family now and there wasn't anything that he wanted more than to have them both for as long as they would have him.
