Thad & Dagny
Even with the fantastic end of the season, adrenaline had continued to pump through Thad. So many amazing things were happening; how could he not be excited about it all? His mum's charity gala a couple weeks ago had been another smashing success, he and Dagny had found the perfect plot of land and had almost finalized the plans for their house, and the Quidditch World Cup was right around the corner. Even though he hadn't tried out for a team this time, the energy of it all was electrifying.

And then there was this carnival fundraiser. As soon as he'd heard about it, he'd got the idea, and it had taken a bit more careful planning than he was used to, but he was chomping at the bit to see it through. He had gone on a couple rides with Dagny, and he'd charmed her into getting their faces painted (though he didn't think it had taken much to convince her), and now he was determined to play a few games while trying to play it cool.

"Oh, hey, what about that one?" he suggested, nodding his head toward a booth set up with miniature bludgers and bats. "Think you could win me a prize here? I'm no Beater, not sure I could manage it," he joked, nudging her lightly with his shoulder. His eyes ticked over to the claw price game at the next booth over, his stomach flip-flopping, but all in good time.
