Beau technically employed people like his trainer, stylist, and even his gloriously ruthless publicist, but he'd never really thought of them as employees or himself as anyone's boss. He had an eye on directing at some point in the future which would give him an opportunity to try out that sort of authority - hopefully if Grace was renewed for a third season he might be able to plant the idea of him directing an episode in Silviya's head.
