There he was, she thought. From what she remembered it wasn't like Jasper to be mopey. At his echo of her sentiment and his relaxation into his barstool she felt a bit of the frustration she'd been carrying around begin to leave her. It didn't mean she would stop drinking, that's what she was here for anyway.
She swallowed her last gulp hard trying to avoid spitting it across the bar. "That was quick." She said through a cough.
"I don't know if I know a single karaoke place around here." Sure, Victory Bar brought in an emcee on occasion, but that was for big events like New Year's. She looked at the excitement on his face and let out a chuckle. "Do you know a karaoke bar where we can still drink? I'm up for anything but drinking needs to be a part of it."
