He didn't quite know what their school robes had to do with anything. At school her plain close had always been bright and bold though she never wore anything quite like the dress she had on.
He turned back to the bar, deciding to lean on as opposed to sitting. They were only getting a drink and if he remembered Etta well enough she might whisk him away as soon as they had drink in their hands.
He nodded, "It happens when you go from scouting for the League and then getting back into playing. It's been exhilarating!" If she had caught him during the offseason being whipped into shape by his older brother and Gavin Montgomery then his tune would definitely be different, but they were a few wins away from back to back Cups.
"I'm not going out for an international team, though." It didn't seem prudent that he'd make it with only one season under his belt.
