He needed to make more of an effort to spend time with Molly's friends, Hunter thought. She had a lot more friends than he did, though that wasn't really a surprise. Molly was a social butterfly and he loved her for it.
"Probably," Hunter agreed, remembering that Molly had been texting the promoter. "Yeah, just got here." He perked up at the mention of the match. "And yes, we did. Good game." The final score had been in their favour and the game hadn't been too taxing physically, standing them in good stead for their next encounter. Tomorrow they'd find out whether they were going to be playing the Cannons or the Kestrels.
He wondered what she'd been talking to the DJ about. They he corrected himself sternly. He might not know Molly's friend well but he knew enough not to be an arsehole. His question was answered a moment later when a song that he was certain was on at least three of Molly's playlists came on. A corresponding squeal went up from the VIP section and he grinned.
