Thomas had made it a point to put in as many hours as he could before today. The time had been approved by Healer Ahuja, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t still be called in at the last minute. Still when he told Manny about his Sunday plans, he seemed more receptive than past attempts. Was it because he was meeting a girl? Thomas didn’t want to think about it too much. Ahuja didn’t seem to be the sentimental type and the thought that this was a date hadn’t even entered Thomas’s mind. They were just two friends that happened to run into each other.
