Eliza snorted into her champagne flute, "Too true, though Mum says Lavender is smarter than they let off, and I think I remember... Skye? Wasn't she towards the top of my year?" She shook her head, she couldn't quite remember. "She seemed smart in classes, at least," she shrugged. She hadn't paid much attention to the Slytherins in her year, if she was honest - they all had Queen Bee attitudes (and even if it hadn't had anything to do with family name or blood purity, it was still annoying as hell).
Eliza rolled her eyes again, "As if they don't talk, like, nearly every single day." She'd grown up with Roxanne and Fred, and their mothers' other best friend - Alicia Pucey, had always had her kids, the twins and Sebastian along. Fred and the twins were older, but the twins had understood her in a way the others couldn't. The Dead Dads Club. Not that she'd ever call it that out loud.
"You're Weasleys, of course I'm not surprised." She said with a laugh indicating she really wasn't insulting them, it was just the nature of the family - always busy, always overachieving. "Don't forget, I've been in the Weasley shadow since I was a fetus, not that I'm complaining, though, Mum doesn't see it as me being a slacker, just not as ambitious as you lot, so it worked out in my favor," she said with a grin and a wink.
"Food?" She asked, picking up the menu and ooh-ing and aah-ing over the daily specials.
