Fame was... not something he could relate to. The having it or the wanting it. But he'd been a Hufflepuff and had fit in quite well there, a hard-worker without any real drive to receive public accolades for it. That didn't mean he couldn't appreciate someone who had those desires, and she certainly had seemed to have made a name for herself.
Liam realized after a couple beats of silence that he'd gotten a bit stuck in his head again, and he breathed a soft chuckle at himself for it. "It seems you've managed to find just such a career. Ticking all the boxes, yeah? That's lovely." He wanted to ask her if it brought her joy, but then he wondered if that would seem a strange thing to ask. And then he realized it didn't matter if he seemed a bit strange--he wanted to know. "Does it bring you joy, writing for the paper?"
