Liam glanced at her portfolio, remembering in that absent sort of way that she wrote the advice column at the Prophet. It took a certain person to be able to sort through peoples woes and offer meaningful advice, and he respected anyone who took that seriously, as it seemed she was. "Does that happen often?" he asked curiously, referring to having to take work home with her. There were many times he couldn't shake work problems from his mind, and so he would try to work through them at home, but he wasn't allowed to actually remove any of his research from the lab, so it was mostly intellectual.
"Oh, no, you're not keeping me from anything," he reassured her, thinking that mingling with her would certainly not detract from the evening in the least.
