Sundays were quickly becoming Liam's favorite day of the week. Even though he and Tina spent much of their time together, in the lab for work and at her cottage after work, Sunday nights were pub nights. He absolutely loved exploring new music with her, whether her introducing him to music he hadn't heard or him introducing her or them discovering something new altogether, but Bonnie and the Treasures happened to be one of the obscure bands that they'd both already loved. The fact that they were a regular at the pub just down the road from the cottage seemed too good to be true, but Liam wasn't about to pass up the opportunity for them to establish routines and traditions together.
Apparently, he also couldn't pass up the opportunity to snog her, even in public. It still boggled his mind a bit that he couldn't seem to stop touching her. He'd never been against physical affection in past relationships, but there was something about Tina that seemed to heighten everything, to make the world brighter, and he found it intoxicating. She wasn't too good to be true; he wasn't blinded by his love for her, but he saw no reason to contain it, either.
The air was just starting to cool as they walked back to the cottage, and at her words, he chuckled and lifted their joined hands to press a kiss against the back of hers. So caught up in her was he that he hadn't heard the soft mewing, but he stopped and listened at her question. It took a moment, but then he heard it. "It sounds like a kitten," he said, taking a few steps toward the sound. The bushes were rather thick at the fork in the road, but he could think of a few spells that might help them find the creature.
