"I knew you'd be a natural at this," she gave her friend a warm smile, and she meant what she said. Her panic was gone and the cab slowed down. "Well, Clea, let's do this thing. Just look fabulous, keep yourself aloof with the men, and charm the people who matter - I'll make sure you know who's who." Now she was grinning and then she handed over muggle money to the taxi driver and took Cassandra's hand. "Let's do this," she said, opening the door to the manic grinning face of Zee Johnson, party planner and marketer extraordinaire.
"Oh, darling!" She greeted him, keeping Cassandra's hand in her own in the crowd, "You look fabulous!" His hair was pink this week, the curls unruly but short enough to stay out of his hair.
"Uh! Gorgeous! My favorite blonde in all of London. Well, the places in London that matter anyway," he greeted Molly Sue with air kisses and giddiness. He laughed at his own joke and Molly Sue joined in.
"You are TOO sweet!" She squealed. "Oh, love, meet my cousin, Clea, I brought her along because I knew you would love her and just had to meet her. I hope you don't mind?" She asked the last bit with puppy dog eyes and a perfectly red-painted pout.
He giggled like a schoolgirl, "OH EM GEE. SHE IS GORGEOUS!" He exclaimed, reaching for Clea for a close, tight hug despite her hand still being clutched tightly in Molly Sue's.
"Well, we must get you girls inside, this line is far too long for you to be seen dawdling in it, can't have anyone thinking you're with the rabble..." He rolled his eyes in the direction of the 'normal' people waiting in line to get in (Molly Sue and Zee both knew nearly 95% of them wouldn't get in no matter how long they waited). He escorted them to the front door, right in front of the line, and Molly waved at the bouncers as they passed, earning kissy faces and shouts of hello.
