As his lips pressed against hers, Fiona waited for the panic to creep back in, but it didn't. Her lips brushed back against his, and she smiled softly at him when he pulled back. "Definitely okay," she reassured him on a whisper. She couldn't be completely confident what her feelings for him were, but she wanted to embrace the calm, peaceful affection he was offering while she could.
"I'm not really sure where we go from here, but I don't think I'm disappointed that last night happened," she told him, her voice thoughtful, speculative. Her calmness unnerved her a bit, but it was also incredibly comforting to not be wound up with anxiety, and so she was fully embracing the feeling.
