Her blush was so lovely, even under these circumstances he couldn't help but think so. When she tipped her chin up at him like that, he hoped he wasn't reading the situation wrong, but leaned forward lightly and gently kissed her. It wasn't a long kiss, as he pulled back, giving her the opportunity to tell him she wasn't interested. He wouldn't blame her, in such a case, he couldn't imagine what she must be feeling right now.
