She remembered kissing his dimple that first time on the dancefloor last night, but even though the visual was strong in her mind, she couldn't bring herself to do it again now.
"Strangely relaxed," she answered, shifting her arms to rest on top of his, her fingertips trailing lightly over his skin. He was warm and solid behind her, and with the memories of the previous night still circling in her mind, she felt safe and so very alive She kept waiting for the anger and pain and fear to set in, but they weren't, and so she continued to embrace the calm. Not that she was any closer to figuring out where they would go from here, but she supposed she didn't have to know just yet.
"You?" she asked, turning the question back to him.
