It was a rarity that both he and Kenzie had a Saturday morning off from filming, but when he'd noticed the lineup in their schedules, he'd made plans to take her to explore the abandoned Barrow Gurney Mental Asylum in Somerset. They'd explored a few other abandoned places since their first adventure to the Camelot amusement park, but he suspected she might be fascinated by the creepy history of the hospital.
Knowing Kenzie, it probably shouldn't have surprised him that she'd apparently forgotten about their intended adventure. After popping in and noticing she wasn't up yet, he'd decided to make himself at home by getting a pot of coffee going, dressed more casually than most people ever saw him, in his jeans and faded tee. Perhaps he would wake her up with a steaming cup and a few orgasms. She never seemed to mind that sort of thing.
His plan was put on hold when the Potter boy she seemed so caught up with (who looked, frankly, homeless) ambled into the kitchen in just his boxers. "Good morning," he replied, his voice thick with amusement. "I assumed as such. She isn't always the best at remembering early morning plans." It wasn't so much a criticism as it was a comment on his familiarity with Kenzie's habits. And she was rather reliable when it came to work, so he supposed it wasn't really a flaw, anyway. "That or you thoroughly tired her out."
