All wrapped up Frankie shrugged a bit. "Probably not," they said, not seeming too bothered. "Books say I'm not alone though, which is nice. And no, I don't need to really figure it out fast. Been thinking it about it a lot, 'cause I do wanna know."
"Knowing it's, you know, a thing, helps a bit. Doesn't really help when I feel- the word is dysphoria," they swallowed. "When it feels like my chest is all wrong." It was something they'd had before to a lesser degree, but somehow understanding that people didn't always feel the body they had grown into was always the one that fitted them had unlocked the ability to feel the discomfort more strongly. "Shifts though, I liked it this morning, just before I found you..." they trailed off with a grimace. Frankie hadn't found such a profound shift happening often. Usually there was a neutral or somewhat neutral place in between the two feelings and their feelings would move along the scale somewhat, but the complete switch from one end to the other was unusual.
