Thad chuckled as the women teamed up on him, dropping Dagny's hand to hold his up in defeat, not having felt strongly about it anyway. "I know we don't, but he's always thinking ten steps ahead."
Pansy snorted rather inelegantly at that. "Solicitors," she tutted with a shake of her head. "Haven't you contacted Sally Townsend yet?" she asked her son, eying him shrewdly. She'd recommended the realtor weeks ago, at the first casual comment Thad had made about the cottage being a bit small for two. "She'll be perfect in helping you two find the best plot of land and a wide variety of homes to tour for ideas," she said, now that she understood the young couple's intentions a bit better. And honestly, Thad should be glad she was focusing on this and not pushing him to go ring shopping. She was already nudging Peter about that, anyway.
"Ahh, I haven't yet, but I will, mum, promise. First thing Monday." He lifted a hand to rub over the back of his neck, his grin turning a bit bashful at being called out. It would be good for them to have some ideas before they met with the architect, wouldn't it?
