Dagny didn't resist Thad's tug, her smile brilliant as she looked at him. It should have been embarrassing how just looking at Thad made her melt, even after months together, but it wasn't. "I like her too." She hoped that Thad knew she meant it and that she wasn't just saying it to please him. Pansy had a commanding personality and a sharp mind, not much like Dagny's mother at all. The more she'd got to know her, Dagny knew she was the sort of woman she aspired to be. "It means a lot to me that she approves."
She lifted her hand, thumb stroking a stray eyelash from Thad's cheek. "I keep getting excited and thinking of all the things we'll do when we have our house. Like, I want to commission Jules to paint us something." It would be a while before they had walls to hang art on, but it was nice to think about.
