It warmed Thad's heart how much Dagny enjoyed and appreciated how close he was to his family. She never shied away from doing things with them, though perhaps that was because he didn't overload the family events. He loved his family, but he wasn't codependent. Especially now that the season had started back up, he wasn't wanting to commit so much of his free time to his family when he treasured those quiet moments with Dagny so much. And the not so quiet moments. Really, any time with her was fantastic.

Thad chuckled at her comment, reaching out to snag her hand, tugging her closer. "My mum has never been accused of being subtle," he pointed out. "She really likes you though. It bodes well." Dad did, too, but he wasn't the one who'd kick up a fuss.
