Dagny was relieved that Thad was as uncertain about it as she was. That they were at the same stage in their lives made it easier and while she liked the idea of creating a family when they were ready she knew she couldn’t picture having four kids like the Notts. She didn’t want to lose sight of how lucky and privileged they were to be able to talk about what they wanted and not what they could afford.
“I have this idea in my head,” she admitted, “that when we find the right place we’ll just know straight away.” Dagny wrinkled her nose, knowing that it sounded ridiculously optimistic. Not that she was in any rush to move, firmly believing that moving in here was one of the best choices she’d ever made.
