Sofía had been so very, very close to leaving on time to meet Hugo, she truly had. She'd been awake early enough to shower, dry her hair and even dress for breakfast. Everything had gone to plan, except for Bash and that maddening mouth of his with possessive kisses and words that held so much promise.

One thing led to another. And then another. She wasn't a meticulous list-keeping sort of Ravenclaw, but if she had been, well... top ten moments of her entire life.

But every ounce of post-orgasmic bliss drained out of her as glanced at her phone while Bash was in the shower and saw several texts from Hugo. There was even a missed call! Sofía couldn't remember the last time that she'd actually made or received an actual phone call.

Her stomach felt like lead. Hugo was a meticulous list-keeping Ravenclaw. He'd know exactly how many times she had ever stood him up. Once. Today.

I didn't get to sleep until really late (or early, I suppose?) and I overslept. I'm the worst.

And now she'd lied to him! She really was the worst.
