He snorted when she called him a sports star. Her kiss made him smile though and he was still grinning as they pulled apart. "You know I'd say I'm not that competitive, but both of the dads are pretty competitive over different things, so I've got some," he said and bounded over to the next course.
He traced the track up with his eyes before beginning to climb. This was definitely a bit trickier looking but the climb started easily enough. For a few moves it was easy to follow and flexed a little under his jacket, but realised that it really did hurt his arms more. Then there was a hold to grab for that he couldn't quite reach on his first go. And apparently he mis-judged the range of his spring in that direction and let go of too many points at once. Thankfully only from halfway up the wall this time, meaning he landed mostly on his feet and did a stumbling sit down rather than falling onto his back.
