He wasn't under any illusions that things would always be smooth sailing between them, but he dreamt of a relationship like his parents had, one of true partnership, clear communication, and an enduring love that was worth working through the rough patches for. He hadn't imagined finding his person this early in life, but he certainly wasn't going to let go easily now that he had.

"We could get in a bit of practice today, if you'd like, ignoring the unpacking and all," he suggested, waggling his brows exaggeratedly at her.
