Niall pulled a face, the mask he usually wore in public slipping more easily in front of someone he'd known for so long. He hadn't been expecting Liam to laugh, though.
He angled the tablet so that he could show Liam his mixing bowl. "It's Thursday night and I'm baking. I don't actually remember agreeing to bake for her, but here I am. She's a wily one."
Pausing he looked a little helplessly at Liam. This was not his strong suit. "I'm not entirely convinced that Lynn's correct. But if she is... well." He'd known Liam longer and his opinion on this mattered more. Niall simply didn't rush into things, so he wanted to make sure that the path was clear before proceeding with anything.
