FrankM_ I adore my dad. As if I didn't already know he wasn't the one who usually wrapped stuff.

I had Christmas lunch with him today and he apologised profusely for the wrapping. I just loved that he got me gifts, he's not a 'gifts' type shopper. #xmas #christmasgifts #family #supportiveparents

Even participating in just a one-off episode of Let's Dance with three weeks of rehearsals had taken more out of Beau than he would like to admit. As a result, the Christmas party he'd planned had been pushed back to Boxing Day.

His house, a converted barn in south Devon, was far enough from the nearest Muggles that he'd been lax about any kind of guest list. At Kenzie's urging, he just wanted to have a bit of fun, so if you were a friend of a friend? Sure, come along. Just bring a bottle of something.

Since he hadn't had a family Christmas this year - for obvious reasons - Beau had decided to go all out on the decorating. A large tree took pride of place in the open-plan living space and the outdoor area was festooned with fairy lights and candles. Spells left pockets of warmth for people to enjoy and, for the more adventurous, the hot tub was ready for action.

There was food, drink, music and - hopefully - a good time.
