gossipguru Rumor has it soulful crooner Violet Nott came home from tour to quite the surprise! We're told she went right to fellow artist Wes Carlisle's London home immediately after returning to country from Paris earlier in the week. Is that when he proposed? Or has she been hiding that ring whilst on tour? Sorry Thad Nott, it looks like your baby sister has upstaged your big day! #gossip #weddingbells #proposal #violetnott #wescarlisle #letsspeculate #whatfunwillcome @visings @wescarlisle

Montrose Magpies vs. Holyhead Harpies
Who will win the match and the season?

These days the wizarding district of London had more options for watering holes and that meant there was a little friendly competition between the Leaky Cauldron and Victory Bar. Both pubs were showing the Quidditch final today and since the owner of Victory Bar was also the mother of the Holyhead Harpies' Seeker, that meant the Leaky Cauldron had to step up its game.

The match was being shown on a big screen and, thanks to the expertise of Charming Parties, the pub was decked out in an abundance of black and green bunting and decorations to celebrate the finalists and welcome all fans of the greatest game in the world. Up near the ceiling, small models of Chasers zipped around passing a miniature Quaffle between themselves; the tiny Beaters had managed to break a light fixture within five minutes of the spells being activated so they had been relieved of their brooms and Bludgers and left to wander along the length of the bar.

The Drunken Zebra
Celebrate in style with the Montrose Magpies.

Come rain or shine, win or lose, the Drunken Zebra was the best place in Scotland to be after a Montrose Magpies match. There was usually one or two of the players there to celebrate or commiserate, but tonight they were out in force. Once again, the most decorated team in British and Irish Quidditch League history were the champions, having beaten the only team that had bested them in the entire season.

Someone had brought the cup with them and it took pride of place on the bar, bedecked in black and white ribbons on the handles. A large banner hung from the ceiling, declaring the team as 2027 champions and even photographs of former teams on the walls seemed to be in the celebratory spirit.
