Lucy wasn't a terribly large woman, something Jaimeson knew without a doubt. She just had a very large personality. Seeing her so small on the other side of the door broke his heart, hammering into his head again that it was all his fault. The small voice of reason, that sounded suspiciously like Hailey, said that it took two to tango.
He set the bags down on the nearest surface, their breakfast in one of the three bags. It was then that he wrapped in his arms without any hesitation. He wanted to kiss her but he wasn't positive right now was the moment. Instead he nuzzled his nose into her hair, breathing her in. "I love you so much," he muttered into her hair, squeezing her in a warm hug.
