With this being a muggle game, it was easy enough for Penny to cast the necessary spells and charms that had Hailey winning. Penny had been doing this long enough to know that the man running the game knew they were cheating, he just couldn't prove how. To their eyes, there was nothing going on. No strings were being pulled, no cards coming out of empty pockets. Look ma, no hands, she thought as her gaze met the very man's gaze, flashing him a seductive smile.
Soon enough they were folding, Hailey's cousin Jaimeson first, the man to Penny's right, where she was redirecting the bad luck in the room away from Hailey. Penny so enjoyed when she got to play with luck magic, it was always tricky, and could backfire at any moment. Even when done correctly, as she had been. By the time it started going wrong, the table had come down to Hailey and Penny. When their gaze met, she felt that familiar flutter. Gods, she'd missed that woman across from her.
"What do you say... We make this interesting?" she asked, that seductive smile now shining on Hailey. What did she want though? What could she offer Hailey? Wasn't she in a relationship? Penny would have to be careful. "If I win, you'll come with me to the shop, tonight," she finished, so Hailey would know what she meant. She wouldn't give her time to make an excuse to not come, not when she finally got her chance to talk to her. Though if she were honest with herself, she was so hoping they didn't do much talking once back to the shop.
