Swallowing a bite of pizza, Albie gestured at a cabinet in the corner of the room. It had belonged to the Black family years ago and Scorpius had helped him restore it earlier in the year. "Should be some glasses in there," he said. Along with a few bottles of booze, as it happened, but Kenzie would be able to conjure herself some water easily enough.
Albie relaxed back into the couch, taking a hit. It seemed like Kenzie was the only person he smoked with these days and he trusted her to bring the good stuff. The last time he'd truly lost all sense of the real world, he realised, had to have been the night of the Mystery Blonde and that had been nearly three years ago. A lot had changed since then.
He wasn't sure whether it was the company or the weed, but the tension in his shoulders finally began to seep away. "Prepared for anything, huh?" Albie flashed her a grin. "What else are you prepared for?"
