He would find her upbeat philosophy very relatable. He tried to have an optimistic outlook, even if life sometimes sorely tested that.
"Well, thank you," he said at the compliment. "My parents made sure I did, but I have always enjoyed it," he admitted. He scanned the room, spotting Theo and Pansy, his parents, across the room. He indicated them to her. "My mother taught me, since neither of my sisters were old enough at the time. Made me the perfect teaching tool for them though." He didn't sound upset Bout that in the least. For all his family issues, he definitely loved his siblings.
Of course it would be immediately apparent at seeing his parents that he wasn't blood related to at least one of them - of all his sibs, he was the one who looked completely adopted.
