When he agreed the dress shouldn't be roughed up, she deflated just the smallest amount. She knew she couldn't destroy the dress, it was far too beautiful. Someone would look so good on their wedding day. She had just been about to tell him that he was right, when he told her that she looked amazing. Big doe eyes lifted to meet his gaze, a bright smile lighting up her face. "It'll make such a beautiful wedding dress for someone one day," she mused, smoothing hands down the front of it. She wondered how it had gotten there, was it another couple with a story like her own?
Tina turned then to show him the back, though they really had already decided that it wasn't to be the dress. "I should change..." came out in a sad tone, something that surprised even Tina. She didn't want to bring up how she wished she had gotten a dress for her failed marriage, that just seemed wrong. She supposed to could always get remarried eventually, the idea causing butterflies as her eyes met his gaze in the mirror. Maybe she'd get married again, eventually.
