"I do," she agreed easily, smiling softly. Jules loved her family; they were the most important people in her life. Her smile widened when he told her a bit about his family, and even though it wasn't quite the same as hers, there were enough similarities that she was a bit relieved that he could understand that fear of someday not being treated as part of the real family. It was what she and Holly had bonded over at only eleven years old.
It was only thanks to the magical car that they were able to get from the pumpkin patch to her parents' property so quickly. The drive up the path to the main house was quite long; they would have to walk to her cottage, as the path leading to it was designed for horses, not vehicles. When they reached her cottage, the Halloween decorations were minimal but still noticeable, livening up the place. A garden still thrived around the cottage, the season not quite cold enough yet to send the plants into hibernation.
Her living room was a bit small, with plants and art all around. The pumpkins they'd picked out earlier where piled neatly just outside the floo. She used her wand to move a few things about, bringing a folded table out to set up in the middle of the living room. She pulled the two stools from the bar counter over to the table and finished setting up for them to carve pumpkins there. "Should we put on a bit of music?" she suggested, nodding to her little radio on a shelf.
