When she began, his eyes slid closed so that he could listen to her. His smile grew as she described it, feeling his heart race. Did that mean what he thought it meant? Was it the future or just his hopes? There was only one way to know, to just continue to live their lives. He hoped though that it might just be their future.
"That sounds wonderful," he admitted happily, before he sat up a little straighter so that his lips weren't so near to her ear. His eyes drifted to glance out the window, excited that he'd finally be seeing where she called home. "Did you build your house on the land, or was it already there?" he asked curiously, having grown up with friends that lived in little homes on their parent's old estate property that used to be for the help.
