When they'd gone back and forth on what to do for their first official date and had finally settled on pumpkin picking, Jules hadn't even considered what sort of wardrobe would work best for each idea. It just wasn't something she thought of often, even if she'd briefly worried about it back when she'd first met Frankie all those month ago. This morning, though, she'd become overwhelmed with trying to figure out what to wear.
Surprisingly enough, in her panic, the person she reached out to was not one of her friends, all of whom had helped her with clothes at one point or another in the past. No, she'd called her mum and asked her to come help. Although they'd worked through much of their issues surrounding Juliet's refusal to confide in her about looking for her birth mum, the fact that she'd called her over for this seemed to go a long way toward mending things further between them. Pansy helped her pick out a lovely teal dress, brown jacket and boots, and a pair of dark brown leggings to keep her legs warm.
She hadn't been sure what to expect of the outing, but there was something incredibly calming and relaxing about traipsing through the pumpkin patch with him. "Hmm, I think there would be if not for magical carving methods," she decided. "Why? Are you thinking you want a giant one? For the shop, perhaps?" she asked a beat later. Would he want to carve their pumpkins together?
