His words didn't register at first. How would they find out later? It wasn't as though she were wearing pearls. Did he intend to destroy the decorations? But then she saw the look in his eyes, and realization dawned on her. Whatever he was thinking, it was obviously sexual in nature. "Mr. Fitzgerald, are you planning shenanigans?" she asked, infusing her voice with that sternness that she knew turned him on.
"We will," she promised. She hadn't gone to too much effort to not document it, after all. Well, he certainly knew how to distract her, didn't he? Dancing was their thing, no question about that. "I do know how to swing dance, yes," she confirmed. "Come on, then." She gave his hand a tug to lead him to the patch of flooring in the lounge designated for dancing. Music played lightly, not loud enough to deter conversation but close to and just loud enough to encourage dancing in that area.
